CALL FOR ACTORS
Introduction
The International Theatre Festival Fantasio is a festival dedicated to the role of the director.
From the 2017 edition, Fantasio returned to where to its birthplace, Theatre of Villazzano, where it started 22 years ago, which will reopen after 10 years of closure. Every one of the directors selected will be able to stay in Trento for 15 days at the organization's facilities, after which the finished piece shall be presented on one of two final dates. On arrival at the residence each participant will be given the same theatrical text (identical for everyone) and each director will have to develop a theater piece from it for no longer than 15 minutes. The theater pieces shall be presented to the judges and the public on the 4th of December and the 5 th of December 2019 in the Theatre of Villazzano. Each director will have to work with actors selected by the organization. Any adult actor in Europe can participate in the competition as an actor. A commission will select the participants based on their CV and on material provided that documents the actor's activity.
Fantasio will not end with the prize giving, the participants of the festival will have the opportunity to propose its own shows for the following Fantasio’s seasons of the Theatre of Vilazzano.
REGULATIONS
ART.1 – Application
To apply all you have to do is fill out the application form found on the Festival's official website www.festivalregia.com. All adult actors from Europe can send in an application. The final deadline to submit your application by is the 21st September 2019. The application is free.

We request that you upload a video on VIMEO or YouTube no longer than 10 minutes and no shorter than 3 minutes.
In the same section you will also find a part dedicated to uploading your CV, which will have to be in .PDF format, and you will need to upload at least one photo.
IMPORTANT: the video absolutely must be:

public or restricted, and hence still in the public domain.

embedded on other websites.
You can choose these settings in the Privacy section of your video on VIMEO and YouTube.
The visual quality of the video, that is the aesthetics, will no factor into the judging. ART.2 – Participants Selection
The organization will select the participants by the 1st of October 2019.

ART.3 Duration of the Festival
The Festival will occur in Trento from the 20th of November to the 5th of December 2019

ART.4 Accommodation
Each participants shall be given accommodation for 15 days, including a contribution to food costs and use of rehearsal rooms at the facilities chosen by the organization. On the first day working team will be created as well as rehearsal rooms and times schedules will be assigned.
